72,135 passengers traveled through your neighborhood airport in October
(Hanover Township, PA) – With a busy holiday travel season projected over the next two months, Lehigh Valley International Airport (ABE) is riding the momentum of strong passenger traffic numbers in October.
72,135 passengers used ABE last month – a 100.4% percent increase from October 2020.
“Compared to other airports nationwide, we’ve rebounded remarkably well. ABE staff continues preparing for an anticipated surge of air travelers that heeded the advice of health officials by staying home for the holidays last year. Pack your patience and be sure to arrive early for your flight – both are key for a stress free journey,” said Thomas R. Stoudt, Executive Director, Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority (LNAA).
