Final Environmental Assessment (EA) and Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) for the North Cargo Facility at Lehigh Valley International Airport (ABE)
The information and documents below are provided to the public for review. The Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority (LNAA) and AECOM have prepared a Final EA to evaluate potential environmental impacts associated with the proposed North Cargo Facility planned for the Lehigh Valley International Airport (ABE) located in Allentown, PA. The proposed project entails construction of a 125,000 square foot cargo building, four cargo aircraft parking positions adjacent to the building, a truck parking/staging area, employee parking, airside access to the runways, and landside access to the local major roadway network. The project would be constructed on the north side of the Airport.
The Federal Aviation Administration has issued a Finding of No Significant Impact for the proposed project. This Federal environmental approval is a determination that the requirements imposed by applicable environmental statutes and regulations have been satisfied.
The Final EA and FONSI are available for a 30-day public review period. The document may also be viewed at the Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority (LNAA) Offices located at 3311 Airport Road, Allentown, PA 18109 through September 13, 2024.
