Customer Appreciation Week at LVIA from October 3 – 6

Events planned to show appreciation for customers and tenants

Allentown, PA – For a second consecutive year, the Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority is spending a week to focus on showing our appreciation for airport customers and tenants in the Lehigh Valley.

“Customer Appreciation Week” is scheduled for October 3 – 6 with events planned at all three aviation facilities operated by the Airport Authority: Lehigh Valley International Airport, Queen City Airport and Braden Airpark.

“It’s critical that our customers, tenants and stakeholders understand that we value their loyalty and unwavering support throughout the year,” said Charles Everett, Executive Director, Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority.

On Monday, October 3, passengers will be served snacks at Gate 7 by LNAA Directors, the Dunkin Donuts Cruiser is providing coffee samples outside the Main Terminal (1st level), an online survey program will kick-off which includes an airfare ticket giveaway and of course there are visits scheduled from the C.O.P.E Therapy dogs and their handlers.

A main attraction for “Customer Appreciation Week” is the start of a two-week (Oct. 3 – 14) temporary TSA Pre✓® Open Enrollment Center in the Aviator Conference Room of the Main Terminal. The expedited screening program enables identified low-risk air travelers to enjoy a more efficient screening experience. Applicants will be required to pay a non-refundable $85 fee and TSA Pre✓® is valid for five years. If you are interested in scheduling an appointment, please click here or visit tsa.gov. Walk-ins will be accepted as scheduling permits.

Currently, TSA Pre-check is not available at LVIA. According to Lehigh-Northampton Airport Executive Director Charles Everett, the Airport Authority is working with TSA and there are plans to provide this service as early as 2017.
