82,514 passengers traveled through ABE
(Hanover Township, PA) – Severe weather in Florida had an immediate impact on passenger traffic activity at Lehigh Valley International Airport (ABE) in October.
Last month, 82,514 passengers used ABE – a 2.6% decrease from October 2023.
“Due to Hurricane Milton, there were twenty-two (22) flight cancellations at ABE. Those cancelled flights significantly reduced the overall passenger count for the month. Our thoughts and prayers are still with everyone recovering from the effects of both devastating storms,” said Thomas R. Stoudt, Executive Director, Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority (LNAA).

By the numbers, American jumped 36.1%. Meanwhile Delta declined 5.9%, United fell 9% and Allegiant traffic dropped 12.1% from last October.
Parking Lot Closures
On Monday, December 2nd, Lehigh Valley International Airport (ABE) is starting a site survey in several public parking areas.
The Short-Term Parking Lot, Aero Club Lot, and a partial section of Long-Term Parking Lot will be CLOSED from Monday, December 2nd through Friday, December 13th.
The Long-Term Parking Lot and Overflow Parking Lot will be available during the closure.
