Movie Night at Braden Airpark returns on Saturday, August 17th with Fireworks Finale
(Forks Township, PA) – Movie at the Airpark presented by the Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority (LNAA) returns on Saturday, August 17th with the showing of “Planes” by Disney and a fireworks finale immediately following the movie. This event is FREE to the public.
This year’s event also gives kids the opportunity to soar over Forks Township. Prior to the movie, the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) Chapter 70 will be providing FREE airplane rides between 4:15 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. (must be between 8-17 years old).
“Introducing aviation to a younger audience might spark an interest in learning to fly and setting them on a future career where the sky is the limit. Right in their own backyard, a rejuvenated Braden Airpark is the perfect place for that dream to takeoff,” said Thomas R. Stoudt, Executive Director, LNAA.
Gates open at 4:00 p.m. with the parking entrance located off Uhler Road. The movie will be displayed on a 40’ x 20’ screen provided by Fun Flicks. Show time is 8:30 p.m.
Bring a blanket or comfortable chairs to create your perfect viewing space on the airfield and we’ll provide the rest.
